Police investigate body found in Waikiki Dumpster as unattended death
The body of a woman in her 50s was found in a Dumpster Monday morning near Fort DeRussy off Ala Moana Boulevard.
The city Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death. The death has been classified by police as an unattended death.
The body was found at 9:30 a.m. near the Hawaiian Colony apartments.
Police are not saying who found the body.
