Electrical power was restored to the majority of 560 customers on the western end of Molokai by 7 this morning following a lightning strike early this morning.

Kaui Awai-Dickson, Maui Electric spokeswoman, said 560 customers on Molokai’s west side lost power just after midnight after lightning struck one of its facilities in Maunaloa.
