Hikers rescued from Manoa Valley
Two women hikers were forced to spend the night in Manoa Valley after getting lost near Manoa Falls.
The women started their hike Monday and got lost after leaving Manoa Falls and decided to wait for daylight to try to return to the trail head. However, at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the pair decided to call for help, according to Fire Capt. Terry Seelig.
The fire department’s helicopter located the pair and flew them to Manoa District Park.
The women did not need medical attention.
