Fire causes $450,000 damage to Kihei home
A two-story home in Kihei fire was badly damaged by fire Thursday night causing an estimated $450,000 worth of damage.
The fire at Kaipii Place was reported at 11:20 p.m. and extinguished at 2 a.m.
A Maui Fire Department spokesman said the fire burned about half of the 3,000-square-foot home. Two female occupants of the home evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
