Man who died snorkeling near Kaneohe sandbar is identified
The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified that 65-year-old visitor from Japan who died after being pulled from waters near the Kaneohe Sandbar on Saturday as Kiyoshi Kurimoto.
An autopsy will be done to determine cause of death.
Kurimoto was from Shizuoka, Japan.
The victim who was part of an organized snorkeling group when he was taken from Kaneohe Bay to the hospital where he died.
