Toddler nearly drowns at Kihei Aquatic Center on Maui
A 2-year-old boy was reported in critical condition following a near drowning incident at the Kihei Aquatic Center on Sunday afternoon.
According to Maui police, the child was discovered at the bottom of a pool by his aunt. An on-duty lifeguard performed CPR on the boy, who was then transported to Maui Memorial Medical Center.
The child was later flown to Oahu for further treatment.
