The man who was dragged under a car that had run over him in Waianae last week is in the hospital in a medically induced coma, Deputy City Prosecutor Chastity Imamura told a state judge Tuesday.

The judge, Circuit Judge Richard Perkins, confirmed the $200,000 bail for the alleged driver of the car, Miguel Torres.

An Oahu grand jury returned an indictment against Torres Tuesday charging him with one count of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder.
