Hawaii's Brook Sedore tries to make a kill against California Baptist's (L-R) Jackson Burge and Kristopher Johnson in the first set at the Stan Sheriff Center on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.

University of Hawaii opposite attacker Brook Sedore was named the Sports Imports/AVCA Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Sedore amassed 46 kills in the Rainbow Warriors’ two-match sweep of then No. 3 UCLA. Sedore tied a career-high with 24 kills in the past Friday’s four-set victory over the Bruins. He had 22 kills in a five-set win in the following night’s rematch.

Sedore, a junior from Alberta, Canada, leads the Warriors with 3.62 kills per set.
