Hawaiian Airlines reinstates San Jose-Honolulu service
Hawaiian Airlines said Thursday it will reinstate service between San Jose, Calif., and Honolulu beginning May 16 with daily flights after having ceased three-times-a-week service from that Bay Area market in January.
The state’s largest carrier also said it will be adding more seats to its Oakland-Honolulu route by switching to a 294-seat Airbus A330-200 from a 264-seat Boeing 767-300ER starting June 18.
Hawaiian currently offers daily nonstop service between Oakland and both Honolulu and Kahului. The airline previously announced that new seasonal summer service between Oakland and both Lihue and Kona will begin in June.
