Police reopened Date Street on Thursday after a critical moped accident.
Police said about about 7:25 p.m. that the street was closed in both directions between University Avenue and Kapiolani Boulevard flollowing the crash. The street reopened by 10 p.m. .
Emergency Medical Services said a man in his 40s was critically injured at Date and University.
Paramedics transported the man, who was riding a moped that collided with a sport utility vehicle.
