Fire destroys unoccupied house on Hawaii island
Fire destroyed an unoccupied house in the Milolii area of Hawaii island on Saturday.
Hawaii County firefighters arriving on the scene at 9:33 a.m. found the single-story structure fully engulfed and partially collapsed.
The blaze was brought under control at 10:15 p.m. and fully extinguished by noon.
No injuries were reported and no damage estimate was available. Fire officials said the house may have been abandoned.
