Hawaiian Airlines led U.S. carriers in punctuality in February during a month that saw many other airlines post terrible on-time numbers.

The state’s largest carrier delivered 90.1 percent of its flights on time, beating the national average of 70.7 by nearly 20 percentage points, according to a U.S. Department of Transportation report released Thursday.

Hawaiian, which is insulated from most of the mainland’s bad weather, also had the fewest cancellations with four out of 5,418 flights, a cancellation rate of 0.1 percent.

In other categories, Hawaiian was third for fewest complaints with 0.53 per 100,000 passengers and sixth for fewest mishandled baggage reports with 2.85 per 1,000 passengers
