Honolulu resident Wilma Uyeno, left, and her friend Yaeko Takita discovered the Hawaiian Pancake Factory at the newly opened Aeon Mall in Wakayama, Japan. The travelers stopped at the mall for a snack before embarking on an hourlong drive to Osaka on April 6. Aeon, the largest retailer in Japan, was founded in 1911 and opened its newest mall in Wakayama on March 16.
