Alyssa Bettendorf won three events and Dakota Grossman won two, including her fourth 3,000 meters in four years, as Seabury Hall ran away with the HHSAA Island Movers track and field championships on Saturday.

Host Kamehameha’s boys also won decisively, with sprinter Dylan Kane emerging with wins in the 100 and 200 meters and sophomore Kaeo Kruse got the meet’s only record with a first in the 3,000.

Seabury scored 73 points to second-place Hilo’s 38 in the girls meet. Punahou was third with 34, Campbell fourth with 31.5 points and Kamehameha fifth with 31.

Punahou was second in the boys meet with 53 points, Baldwin was third with 48, King Kekaulike fourth with 36 and Iolani fifth with 26.

Bettendorf won the 100, 400 and 200 and took third in the long jump. Grossman also captured gold in the 1,500.

Sophomore Emma Taylor of Hawaii Prep won both hurdles events. Campbell won both girls relays.

Kruse ran 8:43.12, breaking the record by Island School’s Pierce Murphy of 852.44 in 2012.
