On May 13, 2014, at approximately 10:29 a.m., two males entered the bank, one brandished a shotgun, and the other brandished a handgun. They approached the teller, demanded money, and fled on foot.

A lockdown was lifted at two schools Tuesday following a police investigation of a bank robbery in Salt Lake. 

The lockdown at Aliamanu Elementary and Aliamanu Middle Schools was lifted at 12:50 p.m., according to Department of Education spokeswoman Dara Young. 

At about 10:29 a.m. Tuesday, two masked men entered the American Savings Bank branch at 848 Ala Lilikoi St. One of the suspects brandished a shotgun while the other brandished a handgun, according to CrimeStoppers. Police said the men demanded money from a teller and fled on foot. 

The first suspect is described as 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 weighing 130 to 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket, ski mask and dark long pants at the time of the robbery. 

The second suspect is described a 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 weighing 130 pounds. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket, blue denim long pants and a red mask.
