Power restored to UH-Manoa
Power has been restored at the University of Hawaii at Monoa after an outage lasting about half an hour Thursday morning.
Shortly before 11 a.m., about 10,000 customers in Manoa Valley, including UH, were affected by the outage.
Power was restored at about 11:30 a.m., according to spokesman Darren Pai of Hawaiian Electric Co.
Pai said a construction crew on Piikoi Street hit an underground power line that caused the outage.
