Police close Kalanianaole lanes due to downed traffic light pole
Police closed lanes in east- and west-bound Kalanianaole Highway near Kalaniiki Street on Friday night due to a downed traffic light pole.
The pole was apparently struck by a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man about 8:40 p.m..
The driver was transported in stable condition to a local trauma center.
