Norway’s Geirangerfjord is part of an Adventures by Disney trip itinerary based on the movie “Frozen” on which the film’s fantasy kingdom of Arendelle was based. The movie’s popularity has spilled over into demand for “Frozen”-related merchandise, trips and visits with “Frozen” characters at Disney parks.

Hershey’s arrives on Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS » A chocolate lover’s paradise featuring a giant, Hershey bar replica of the Empire State Building is now open on the Las Vegas Strip.

The two-story Hershey’s Chocolate World store debuted Tuesday at the New York-New York casino. It features a supersize Reese’s peanut butter cup on its facade and an 800-pound replica of the Statue of Liberty carved out of milk chocolate.

The store is not the only place on the Strip where tourists can satisfy their sweet tooth. A four-level M&M’s World across the street is a shrine to competitor Mars’ signature candy.

The Bellagio is also home to a floor-to-ceiling chocolate fountain that’s certified as the world’s largest.

Hershey’s has similar stores in Times Square, Niagara Falls, Chicago, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai.

Ansel Adams images on display

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. » A collection of iconic images by nature photographer Ansel Adams is going on display in Myrtle Beach.

The exhibit opens Tuesday at the Burroughs and Chapin Art Museum and continues through Sept. 21.

A touring exhibit is from the Lakeview Museum of Arts & Sciences of Peoria, Ill., in affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution.

The collection includes 72 black-and-white images Adams printed for his daughter. It is part of a portfolio he conceived in the 1970s as the best images from his career.

Most of the images are landscapes, but there are also close-up nature works, portraits and architectural subjects.

An opening reception is being held Tuesday with a talk by Andrea Stillman, Adams’ former assistant and author of a book on him.

Theme park unveils dinosaur ride

GLEN, N.H. » To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Story Land theme park in New Hampshire has introduced a new roller coaster called the "Roar-O-Saurus" which celebrates dinosaurs.

The coaster has a lift height of 40 feet and features 1,250 feet of track length.

The dinosaur-themed area also includes the "Dino Dash" Dinosaur race game, a "Dino Dig" play area and other attractions.
