Pahoa house fire causes $100,000 in damages
Hawaii County firefighters responded to a house fire in Pahoa early Saturday morning that left $100,000 in damages.
The fire broke out around 3:14 a.m. to a one-story house on Tradewind Drive. It was under control at 3:38 a.m. and extinguished at 3:40 a.m.
The garage was fully involved in the fire, HFD said.
No one was home at the time.
The cause is still under investigation.
