The water conservation request for Kalihiwai residents has been canceled after Kauai Island Utility Cooperative crews restored power to the Kalihiwai booster pump station Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

The Department of Water’s Kalihiwai booster pump station was without power and could not produce water to area residents, Kauai officials said.

The DOW asked Kilauea residents in Kalihiwai in Kauai to conserve water.
