Island Air lowers free trip requirement
Island Air has lowered the miles redemption requirement for its frequent fliers.
New and current Island Miles members can now earn a free flight segment for only six flight segments flown. The previous requirement was nine.
Three round trips equal a free one-way ticket with Island Miles. Island Air awards 500 miles for every flight. Only 3,000 miles are needed to receive a one-way award ticket.
Island Air said everyone enrolled in Island Miles by Oct. 31 will be eligible for a drawing to win 12,000 Island Miles, the equivalent of two round trips to anywhere Island Air flies, and a three-day, two-night stay at The Modern Honolulu in Waikiki. No entry is necessary, and current members are automatically entered.
Flight segments expire if there is no activity within two years.
