Poker Hall of Fame inductees announced
LAS VEGAS » The Poker Hall of Fame says it will honor Daniel Negreanu and retired poker executive Jack McClelland next month in Las Vegas.
The hall’s governing council announced Thursday that the induction will be at Binion’s Gambling Hall on Nov. 9.
That’s a day before World Series of Poker finals start at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino.
Negreanu, known as "Kid Poker," has nearly $30 million in lifetime poker winnings.
He joins Chip Reese as the only members inducted at the threshold age of 40.
McClelland directed the World Series of Poker in the 1980s and ran the Bellagio poker room from 2002 to 2013.
