Two Saint Louis School graduates, Marcus Mariota and Kamalei Correa, were named players of the week in their respective football conferences today.

Mariota, Oregon’s quarterback, was named the Pac-12 offensive player of the week and Correa, a defensive end for Boise State, was honored as the Mountain West Conference defensive player of the week, the conferences announced.

Mariota, a redshirt junior, threw for 326 yards and five touchdowns in Oregon’s 59-41 victory over California.

He completed 18-of-30 passes and became the school’s career passing leader with 8,299 yards. He has thrown 24 touchdown passes with just one interception this season.

Correa, a sophomore, had three and a half tackles for loss in the Broncos’ 55-30 over Brigham Young, including two sacks.
