Kapaa woman injured after car flips on Kauai
A 29-year-old Kapaa woman was injured early Thursday when the car she was driving crossed the centerline on Kuamoo Road, struck the embankment on the opposite side of the road and overturned.
The woman was the only occupant in the car when the accident occurred at 2:21 a.m.
The crash occurred on Kuamoo Road west of mile marker zero in Wailua Homesteads.
The car partially blocked the eastbound lane closing Kuamoo Road for approximately one hour.
