OCCC inmate fails to return from work furlough
A 27-year-old inmate on work furlough from Oahu Community Correctional Center failed to return Tuesday afternoon.
The Department of Public Safety reported that Brandon Medeiros left OCCC at 8:30 a.m. and failed to return at 1:30 p.m. as scheduled.
Medeiros is 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 154 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo under his left eye and on the right side of his neck.
He is serving time for second-degree assault, second-degree robbery and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
Medeiros is a community custody inmate — the lowest classification status — and is in the work furlough program with pass privileges.
Public Safety officials urge the public to call 911 if he is spotted.
