Samuseva named UH assistant football coach
Former University of Hawaii defensive tackle Lance Samuseva has been approved as an assistant coach for the Warriors.
Samuseva served as an intern the past three seasons.
Samuseva, who as a standout at Farrington High, played four seasons with the Warriors through 2003 .
He fills a vacancy created when Lewis Powell, who coached UH’s defensive linemen the past two three years, accepted a coaching job at the University of Utah.
