Honolulu police investigated the scene at a bridal shop, after a car crashed into the building on Queen Street Friday morning.

Two women refused medical treatment Friday morning after the car they were in crashed into a Queen Street bridal shop.

Fire officials said a gray Toyota Camry was in the parking lot of the Keloa Lai condominium when the 80-year-old driver drove through the dry wall of the Bijou Bridal store and ended up in its showroom.

The driver and another woman were examined at the scene at 600 Queen St., but both refused medical treatment and were not taken to the hospital, Emergency Medical Services reported.

The incident occurred at 9:17 a.m. and a fire crew was on the scene five minutes later.

The store was not open at the time of the accident.

Correction: An earlier version of this story, based on preliminary information, said the women were taken to a hospital.
