Aliviado’s career-high 4 RBIs lift Hawaii past UC Davis

Kaeo Aliviado went 3-for-5 with a double and a career-high four RBIs and Stephen Ventimilia singled, drew two walks, scored thee runs and drove in two in an 8-3 victory over UC Davis on Thursday night at Les Murakami Stadium.

Hawaii (10-19, 1-3 Big West) handed UC Davis (18-8-1, 3-1) its first conference loss and snapped a seven-game winning streak by the Aggies. 

L.J. Brewster (4-3) gave up a career-high seven walks in 5 2/3 innings, but limited the damage to three runs on five hits with five strikeouts.

Chayce Ka’aua doubled and scored twice and Jacob Sheldon-Collins went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.

The series continues on Friday night at 6:35 with Tyler Brashears getting the start for UH.
