Police seek public’s help to identify bus attackers
Honolulu police Wednesday released a video showing suspects trying to gain entry into a city bus apparently to attack a group of men who had fled onto the public transportation vehicle at a Pearl City bus stop.
The incident occurred on March 21, a Friday, a little after midnight.
Police said the suspects chased the men onto a city bus.
One suspect stepped in front of the bus to prevent it from moving, while others began to shatter windows with various objects, police said.
One man used a golf club to smash a window, causing shards of glass to fall on a passenger.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the suspects. Call Honolulu police at 529-3111.
