Man charged in Waianae stabbing
Prosecutors charged a 57-year-old homeless man in the stabbing of a 49-year-old woman in Waianae.
Herman K. Nunuha Jr. was being held on $25,000 bail after he was charged with second-degree assault Sunday.
Paramedics took a 49-year-old woman to the hospital in serious condition with stab wounds at 12:01 p.m. Saturday from a Farrington Highway address in Waianae.
The suspect was arrested 30 minutes later about a block from the scene.
