CINCINNATI » Police say a tree has crashed onto a car driven by a 65-year-old woman in Cincinnati, killing her.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the tree fell onto the car around 4 p.m. Sunday. Photos show a large tree resting across the crushed vehicle.

Officer Douglas Swingley tells the newspaper that Jacqueline Carr was the only occupant. He says she was headed north on Reading Road at the time.

Leonard Washington of Price Hill tells the newspaper he saw the woman driving moments before the tree fell. He says he rushed to the car.

There was little he could do to help.
