Hawaii's Chloe Barr scores a goal against Southern California during the NCAA quarterfinal women's water polo on Friday

Princeton’s Jessie Holechek scored with four seconds left to lift the Tigers to a 7-6 win over Hawaii in a consolation round match in the National Collegiate Women’s Water Polo Championship on Saturday in Stanford, Calif.

The Rainbow Wahine erased a two-goal deficit in the fourth quarter with Chloe Barr scoring the tying goal with 4:32 left. After another shot by Barr was saved by Princeton goalie Ashleigh Johnson, the Tigers called timeout with 22 seconds left and Holechek’s shot skipped past UH goalie Sarah Logan for the go-ahead score.

Hawaii (18-10) fell to 0-2 in the tournament and will play for seventh-place at 9 a.m. Sunday at Stanford’s Avery Aquatic Center. Princeton will play for fifth-place in the match to follow.

Barr led UH with two goals and Gabi Mantellato Dias, Claire Nixon, Paula Chillida Esforzado and Zoe Respondek scored one each. Logan made three saves.

Ashley Hatcher scored twice and Johnson came up 11 saves for Princeton, which avenged a 7-6 loss to UH on March 15.
