Police are investigating two reports of children who say men tried to kidnap them Wednesday afternoon.
Police are looking for a man who reportedly tried to kidnap a 10-year-old boy in Kalihi on Wednesday.
Police said a boy reported a man held him against his will at 1:05 p.m. in Salt Lake on Wednesday but did not injure him.
The man fled and has not been arrested.
A 14-year-old girl told police a large male tried to kidnap her in Kalihi at about 2:15 p.m.
No further details were available. Police did not say whether the two incidents were connected.
