Man seriously injured in Kalanianaole Highway accident

A fire truck is at the scene of an accident on Kalanianaole Highway that closed Koko Head-bound lanes Monday morning.
Paramedics took a man in his 50s to the hospital in serious condition in a three-car accident near Kalani High School Monday morning, according to an Emergency Medical Service report.
Four other people refused medical transport, EMS said.
The accident, at about 7:53 a.m., closed Koko Head-bound lanes of the highway until the scene was cleared.
