Ocean Safety officials rescued a man who almost drowned at Sharks Cove Sunday morning.
The man was scuba diving when he ran into trouble around 10 a.m. Bystanders pulled him out of the water and performed CPR, said Shayne Enright of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department.
The patient, a local man between his 20s and 20s, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
