    Police said the man asked to try on the woman’s Versace necklace, took several photos of himself wearing it and then allegedly hit her and fled on May 21.

Police are looking for a man in his 20s who allegedly robbed a woman of her Versace necklace at Boda Cafe in the Ala Moana area in May.

Police said the man asked to try on the woman’s Versace necklace, took several photos of himself wearing it and then allegedly hit her and fled on May 21.

The two had met previously at Boda Cafe on Hopaka Street, police said.

The man is possibly named Tony or Tommy, is between 20 and 30 years old, is 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with short dreadlocks, brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his body.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellphone.
