The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life: Bondi Beach, Sydney
July 12, 2015
COURTESY PAM SOO CANOE
The Soo family of Honolulu were visiting Bondi Beach in Sydney in June when they came upon a wall of street art murals and noticed one paying homage to the Polynesian voyaging canoe Hokule‘a. Pam Soo, who took the photo, described the experience as “simply awesome!” Pictured are her sons Kamuela, left, and Kupono, and her husband, Wendell Soo.
