FRESNO, Calif. » Authorities say a train struck and killed a photographer in Central California while he took pictures of a model posing with a different train in the background.

KFSN-TV reports that the photographer didn’t notice the second train coming while he was working on the tracks in downtown Fresno on Thursday evening.

Police say the photographer was taking pictures of the female model, using a southbound train as a backdrop. The train that hit him was traveling north.

The woman was not hurt.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the photographer as 25-year-old Christopher O’Guinn of Fresno.

The accident follows the January death of a 37-year-old fitness model and actor, George Gregory Plitt Jr., who was killed by a Southern California commuter train he was running ahead of while filming a promotional video.
