San Jose State dismisses another incoming freshman football player
SAN JOSE, Calif. » San Jose State has dismissed incoming freshman defensive back Bomani Bassette-Hairston from the program following an undisclosed on-campus incident.
Coach Ron Caragher said Friday that after a thorough review he decided it was best that Bassette-Hairston leave the program.
The San Jose Mercury-News reported Thursday that Bassette-Hairston was involved in a dorm altercation that sent another player to the hospital.
Wide receiver Kanya Bell Jr. was dismissed from the program Saturday after being arrested for domestic battery involving a female.
UH is slated to play San Jose State on Oct. 10 at Aloha Stadium.
Caragher said he wishes Bassette-Hairston the best in the future.
