A 32-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that briefly closed Nimitz Highway in both directions at Waiakamilo Road in Kalihi.
Emergency Medical Services reports that paramedics treated a 32-year-old man for injuries following the accident just after 9 a.m. They took him to the hospital in serious condition.
Police closed the highway following the crash. Traffic camera images showed the highway reopened by about 10:30 a.m.
However, police said Waiakamilo Road remained closed at Nimitz Highway.
