Man whose decomposed body found near Hilo Airport is identified
Hawaii island police have identified the man whose decomposed body was found near Hilo Airport on June 15 as 72-year-old Thomas Rogers.
Rogers did not have a permanent address but had lived in Hawaii and Oregon.
An autopsy conducted June 16 determined that Rogers died of natural causes.
Attempts to locate family members were unsuccessful.
Police are asking that anyone with information about how to reach Rogers’ next of kin contact Detective Clarence Davies at 961-2383.
