Man charged with attempted murder in Kalihi stabbing
Prosecutors Monday charged a 22-year-old homeless man with attempting to kill a 48-year-old man near Kapalama Canal in Kalihi in July.
Jtwo Engino was charged with second-degree attempted murder when he allegedly stabbed a 48-year-old man at 2 a.m. July 11. His bail was set at $100,000.
The incident occurred on Kohou Street near the area where there is large homeless encampment.
Paramedics took the victim to the hospital with multiple wounds to his back.
