Missing work furlough inmate turns himself in to OCCC
A 38-year-old Oahu Correctional Center inmate who failed to return from a work furlough pass turned himself to prison officials Monday morning.
Noah Borgman, who is completing a sentence for drug violations, failed to return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center after work at 1:30 a.m. and prison officials reported him missing. However, Borgman returned to OCCC several hours later. He left Laumaka Monday night.
Borgman was serving time for third-degree promoting a dangerous drug 3, prohibited acts related to drug paraphernalia and unauthorized entry into a dwelling. His next parole hearing was scheduled for October.
