Man found in Hawaii island coffee field was murdered, police say
Police say the man found dead in a Captain Cook coffee field was murdered.
Hawaii County police say an autopsy conducted Tuesday determined 69-year-old Dolores Borja Valle of Holualoa died from sharp and blunt-force head trauma. The manner of death is ruled a homicide.
A woman walking her dogs Sunday morning found the body, which had suspicious head injuries.
Detectives continue to investigate.
