2 men arrested for alleged illegal hunt in Waianae forest
State conservation officers caught two Makaha men hunting without a license in the Waianae Kai Forest Reserve Sunday, police said.
The arrest occurred at 1:45 p.m. Conservation officers turned the men, ages 50 and 43, over to police.
Both men were also arrested on suspicion of several firearms violations.
The 50-year-old man was a convicted felon and faces an additional charge because he is prohibited from possessing firearms, police said.
