No. 11 Hawaii sweeps Cal Poly in volleyball
Junior hitter Nikki Taylor put down 11 kills and senior middle Olivia Magill added 10 kills with no errors as No. 11 Hawaii won its seventh straight, sweeping Cal Poly 25-20, 25-12, 25-19 in a Big West volleyball match Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Rainbow Wahine (12-1, 2-0 Big West) finished with 10 blocks with Magill in on six.
The Mustangs (8-4, 0-1) got 12 kills from freshman Adlee Van Winden.
Senior hitter Tai Manu-Olevao had three of Hawaii’s six aces and sophomore libero Savanah Kahakai had 12 of the team’s 37 digs.
