Police search for 4 males involved in gunpoint robbery at Honolulu lookout
Police were looking for four males involved in the gunpoint robbery of a 19-year-old man Sunday morning at a scenic lookout in Honolulu.
The man told police he was with a group of people at the lookout at about 12:30 a.m. when the suspects drove up and two males got out and began demanding money.
Police said one suspect threatened to shoot the victim with a gun wrapped in a towel if he didn’t comply. The same suspect demanded the victim’s keys to his moped and fled on the moped.
Police said the other suspects left in the vehicle they drove up in.
Officers opened a first-degree robbery investigation. Police did not disclose the location of the lookout.
