Auto accident in Palolo critically injures 1
Honolulu police said alcohol and drugs appear to be contributing factors in a vehicular accident in Palolo that left a 50-year-old passenger in critical condition.
The Honolulu man was riding in a van heading north on Palolo Avenue when the 43-year-old driver lost control and struck a couple of parked and unoccupied vehicles at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
The accident took place 84 feet south of Kikilia Place.
The 50-year-old male was taken to the hospital.
