Hawaiian Electric crews are working to restore power to about 37 customers in Kalihi on Kalani Street.

About 400 customers initially lost power at 3:40 a.m. after a car knocked down an utility pole on Kalani Street between Waikamilo Road and McNeil Street. By 7 a.m., power was restored to all but 37 customers.

In Halawa, about 1,300 customers were with out power for about two hours because of a problem with a cable. Power was restored at 6:40 a.m.
