Palama man arrested for allegedly stealing beer
A 19-year-old Palama man was arrested this week for allegedly stealing beer at a Salt Lake store.
Police said the incident occurred at 1:29 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect allegedly walked into a Salt Lake store, took two 12-packs of beer and hit the clerk who tried to stop him.
The man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery, but released the next day pending further investigation.
